SSS Orange Round Coming up
Griffith Kart Club looks forward to members competing in Round 4 of the 2016 SSS at Orange on September 3rd & 4th.
Griffith kart club members will be travelling to Orange to compete in round 4 of the Southern Star Series. Many of our members are at, or near the top of the current point score table which is a huge effort in such tight competition. Noah Sands is competing in the Cadet 12 class which he won at the last round in Canberra so he should be looking to be on the top step at this event. Mikayla Boots will be competing in the KA4 junior class which she has been very competitive in so a top three place should not be out of her grasp. In KA3 Senior light there should be a great local battle up front with Jarrod Whitty and Stewart Weigand continuing their battle along with Jason severino and Connor Vidler should be able to put some extra pressure on these guys for the top spot.KA3 Senior heavy will also another local battle with the Prendergast brothers Jamie and Jarrod going head to head but with Blake Snaidero finding a little extra speed he will throw a spanner in works, either way this will be a great race.
In the 125cc classes James O’Callaghan will start things off in the TAG-Restricted light class he is currently running second overall and with the great form of late he will be looking to take a win. TAG-Restricted heavy will see John Macey and Ben boots take on the field and with John having top 3 placings in previous rounds he looks to do it again. With the last class TAG-Open light will see Byron Woolner and Jarrod Whitty taking on some tough competition, with both these guys in great form the others will have there work cut. This will be a great hit out for all the Griffith members before round 2 of the riverina cup on the Saturday 17th september.
